Account Nickname Handling
Purpose
If members name their accounts (e.g., ‘My Vacation Fund’), they can manage nickname playback using the following Nickname Settings.
Prerequisites
- Caller must complete authentication.
- Nicknames must already exist in the core system.
Configuration Steps
- Navigate to System Personality Configuration → Text-to-Speech Settings → Play Entities/Nicknames.
- You can enable or disable each setting independently.
Limitations
- If a nickname is missing, the IVR defaults to the full account name.
- Enabling more nickname or source details may slightly increase call duration.
Field Reference
Purpose
Defines how nicknames are spoken.
- 0- Do not play nicknames
- 1 - Full entity description including nicknames if available:
- 2 - Play nickname instead of entity description if nickname is available
Purpose
Prevents prompts like “nickname of…” from being played.
